James HORLICK Ruardean 1845 (General)

wow thanks for all this information. Its the Nockells bit that has me the most frustrated at the moment I had pieced together where the Nolekens name came into it & of course the Burford name but cant seem to track down a direct link with the surname of Nockells. Its such an unusual name & I have spotted it in a couple of co-incidental bits e.g A Mr Nockells was a cloth factor in London to John Bury's company who was the brother in law of John Burford. There is also a William Nockells a coal merchant and Oxalic Acid Manufacturer, and my Burford's are also living in Stratford. So as you can see its interesting the name then turns up again with the James Horlick whose mother is a Burford
