Old newspapers or records of Michaelchurch (General)

Hi,

I am looking for information regarding my family who lived in Michaelchurch aroung 1900's. I have just been told that when they moved from Michaelchurch and another family moved in they found a body of baby in the loft! This would have been around 1920 - 1930 and would dearly like to find out more.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Regards : Vanda

I guess this would be the Michaelchurch 10 or so miles north of Monmouth and the Forest of Dean ?

In which case you probably need the "Hereford Times"
The Public Library, Broad Street , Hereford, HR4 9AU (Telephone 00 44 1432 272456) archives the complete issues of the Hereford Times (from 1832 to date) and the Hereford Journal (from 1770 to 1932).

Many thanks for that information. I shall have to see if I can find out which year it was and give them a ring.

Thanks : Vanda
