Please can you post what other information you do have; I see you've visited the website many times - did you find any relevant PRs ?. I've had a quick look and cannot find any obvious, but there are many possibles to search thro, George was a popular name in the Haywards of Glos it seems, altho looking at the Census on the LDS site suggest they're largely in the Cotswolds area so away from the Forest ??. Of particular use might be their Marriage, do you know when/were that took place, please ?.
I cannot find them as a couple on my Glos 1851 Census, so if you have it that would help too, was he married by then ?

Elizabeth says she was born in Cirencester. Glos Marriage CD, has a Marriage a North Cerney (about 4 miles away) of a John HAYWARD to an Elizabeth ONION - 3 November 1817.

Altho on retrospect this is a few miles from Ledbury so less likely to be "our" Hannah, altho likely to be a family link ref the above Zachariah baptised at Upton Bishop .

thank you slowhands. for your info. i've got the info on hannah. it's george that don't seem to want to be found. the only info i got is what's on the census. so it looks as if i'm going to get the marriage cert. hopefully it will have he's father's name. but thank you again for taking the time and looking for me. best wishes. linda
