I used to live in Heywood Cinderford now known as Woodgate Rd. Arthur Embling was a near neighbour of ours, in fact he owned a large garden next door. His age suggests to me he was the Arthur listed in the 1901 census in Littledean where I believe he had relations who would visit via The Ruffit.

Arthur worked for many years at the EDISON SWAN cable works at Lydbrook, his wife's name was I believe Nellie although as a little boy at the time I was probably not supposed to use it. He was I nice genleman who has long since departed this world. He did not have any children that I can recall.
