Hi. I found the baptism of Reginald G. CROCKETT the son of Ernest W. CROCKETT & Eliza BARNARD. He was baptised in 1896 in Mitcheldean. I want to be able to prove if he was the same Reginald G. CROCKETT I found in the WWI medal index. It says that he served with the Monmouth Regiment. How many Reginald CROCKETTs were there in 1901? Thanks.

There are only 4 Reginald Crockett's on the 1901 census for England, Including your family member, the only one with a middle intials was born Reginald C (charles - see freebmd) G Crockett in 1901, son of Arthur and Agnes of Worcester. The other two Reginald's were born in 1886 and 1887 (without a middle initial). so if your medal card has the right initials I feel sure its the same guy.

Thank you for checking the 1901 census for me. I just checked the Free BMD index and found Reginald G. CROCKETT married in 1915 in Abergavenny. I am thinking it must be him in the WWI medal index. Thanks again for your help.

I just found something on Ancestry.com regarding Reginald G. CROCKETT. They have his WWI pension record. Would somebody please look that up for me? I don't have a subscription to ancestry.com Thanks.
