Hi
Many thanks to the people involed in producing and showing this data. i saw a G.Powell listed as running one called Dark Hill. Although the initial is"G", i`m sure it is my great grandfather`s whose name was Benjamin POWELL.. I have a copy of his application for registration dated July 13th 1895. He was living at Berry Hill which was the address given in this list
Thanks again as I hadn`t known the name of his mine before seeing this list

Hi
I think I was too hasty in choosing Darkhill as my greta grandfather`s mine. Looking at thelist again, I think its "Howlerslade" owned jointly witha Mr(or Mrs BROWN ALthough my ancestor was born in Berry Hill he gave his address as Coalway Lane End on his application form
Thanks again to those involved
Sylvia
