Henry Howells aged 4oyrs Labourer Underground B Yorkley
Norah Howells aged 25yrs B Cinderford (Maiden Name could be Jefferies)
Frederick James Lodger Single 23yrs Collier on Coal Hewer B Yorkley
OLIVER HENRY THOMAS aged 37 married Lodger Collier Hewer B Bream
Frederick Thomas Son aged 2yrs B Cwntillery
Elise Thomas Daughter 5 months B Cwntillery

Oliver Henry Thomas is Married to Clara Howells who on 1911 census is in Bream Eaves with her children. (Oliver is Edwin Oliver Thomas B 1873/4 Bream father Thomas Birt but no father on Birth Certificate only mother)
Now why would a collier go to Abertillery to do the same work, who are the two Thomas children, and Clara Thomas was a Howells so is there a connection there.
I can't find these on The Parish Records.
Any help please

Oliver Henry Thomas married Clara Howells my husbands Grandparents. On their marriage certificate he names his Father as Thomas Birt.
All very odd on 1911 Census Kate Maud Webb is with Clara as a Boarder single aged 29yrs Home Work B Bream also John Carver as Widower aged 62 he was on 1891 census with George and Ester Smith.I don't think I will ever sort this lot out.

I've just had a look on Ancestry and there is a tree (which I'll look again at....) which states

James Edwin THOMAS married Louisa HOWELLS (of Redbrook - father THOMAS - Tinplate Work Manager) one witness was John HOWELL 27 March 1864 Saint James Bream

This is on FOD records, James THOMAS age 34 Widower - Louisa was a Servant at Bream Parsonage.....

'Oh what a tangled web we weave"....

Henry and his brother Ernest were from the Forest of Dean, and were sons of the crown woodsman there. Henry married Norah Jefferies, I have pictures of them and their children, they lived and died in Montague Street, Abertillery. Their two children Fred and Grace never married. Grace worked at the bakery on the foundry bridge in Abertillery, Fred was a coal miner. Ernest died young at 21. Henry and Nora's other children were Doreen and Violet.
