Who is William Throckmorton MILES? (General)

I have been researching the MILES family in Clearwell.
Two records intrigue me. A burial record for William Throckmorton MILES of Clowerwall 20 Jul 1628 and a burial record for Nicholas Throckmorton MILES in Hewelsfield (1664). I have 'googled' Throckmorton and Clowerwall and there is plenty of information about Sir William THROCKMORTON and his son Sir Baynham THROCKMORTON both of Clowerwall (Clearwell), including a pedigree chart from British History Online. Sir William Throckmorton's date of death is recorded as 1628. My question is "what is the MILES connection?". These two parish records are the only place I can find a MILES THROCKMORTON link and I would love to know more.

I think I have just worked out the answer to my own question about William Throckmorton Miles and William Throckmorton Miles! I suspect the entry is in latin, and Miles is not part of the name, but the latin used for Knight.

There was a Throckmorton/Throgmorton/Frogmorton family which was significant in Tudor times (at the level courtiers to the royal family), e.g. Sir Thomas Throgmorton, Sir George Throckmorton it would be interesting to see if this is the same family.
