by keriship, Tuesday, February 09, 2010, 21:34 (5476 days ago)
I am looking for any info on a Joseph Bevan,he was living in St Briavells in 1840,he had a daughter Elizabeth, who married a William Taylor in 1840 in Newnham.I have found all info on his daughter but babtism, but nothing on Joseph himself. I was told he may have been born in English Bicknor around 1788.

Hi Slowhands,
It's that bothersome woman from America again.
I was wondering if you could work your magic again and help me find the parents of a Richard Taylor, he was born in 1725,babtism 30 may 1725 Newland and his resdence was Coleford.
On the babtism records Mum and Dad are listed as William and Maria,
The only William and Maria I can find were born in 1651 and 1673 and I think that would make Maria a little old to be Richards Mum.
Hope you can help,
Thanks again for any help, its greatly appreciated
Keri
