Many years ago Ruardean was spelt Ruardyne.

Or it could possibly be Leintwardine also in Herefordshire but in the North.

I guess you may have discovered the place by now but I have heard of a place in Herefordshire called Lentwardine and wonder if this is what you are looking for.

I've at long last tracked it down! It is Llanedeyrn in Wales.
