James Beach b 1838, son of James Beach and Mary Howell Jones came to US in 1857-1858 per US census information. I can not find his immigration or ship record.
His parents, James Beach & Mary Howell, came to US in Sep 1857 with family except son James & daughter Rhoda. James, Mary and rest of family returned to England as they are not on any subsequent US census but are on the 1861 English census.
James (born 1838), whenever he came to US, stayed -- married Isabella Atkinson in Ohio, fought in Civil War in Virginia regiment, was wounded & filed for pension. Moved to Pennsylvania then to western Kansas where he died.
I'd like to have more information the ancestors of James Beach in England. I'll be glad to share what I have on the US line of this family.
