Charles Hampton 1857-1893 & Pamela Williams 1857-1893 (General)

Has anyone got any information about Charles Hampton b 1858 d 1889 and his wife Pamela nee Williams b1857 d 1893.They both lived down Mill Hill Bream for all their married life until Charles died quite young we have a plaque commemorating his funeral saying theat 100's of people gathered to follow the hearse but we dont know if it was some kind of mining accident or not can anybody fill me in as I would like to know a little more out about my Great Great Grandfather.Thanks Angela.

Thankyou for clearing that up because we never knew what had happened to him,we assumed from the amount of people at his funeral and his age that something tragic may have happened at the pit where he worked.They both died very young so there wasn't many people around apart from my gran who has sadly died to ask.
