Congratulations on a first class web site,I have already been able to fill in a few gaps on my family tree and have only been a member for a few hours..
How ever im still looking for information on William j Creed born 1881 in Lydbrook, i have the 1891 census showing him as residing in English bicknor with his family William creed and Eliza creed,then i have no further positive leads.
Can anyone help??

Thank you for the quick reply,will now investigate those records on ancestory.co.uk.
I also believe he had a son later on around 1920 Albert clarence creed born to a Frances edwards although i have found a marriage index for this event 1916,i dont really know how to proceed trying to trace his mother.

Thank you for your reply,I see in the 1881 census eliza rosser listed as a visitor,then in the 1891 census he is married to an eliza creed ,so i assume he married Eliza rosser?

Eliza: daughter of John (occ. Carpenter) and Mary - all the the census' in Williton, Somerset -
e.g. 1871 Census, Somerset, St.Decuman - District 1 - (covers Williton) - Page 29, Long Street. There is also a Thomas LANGDON - a few houses away (always check surrounding houses in case other family members are living close, happens quite often.....)

I'd start with ordering a copy of the Marriage cert there may be enough extra info to narrow down to the Frances i.e. age, parents...

Need some help trying to find this mans parents,I have a record of his birth in Horseley Gloucestershire 1702 and of his marriage to a woman called Ann in 1727,but can not find any Creeds in Horseley pre 1702...I have found a Daniel Creed born 1679 Cam Gloucestershire could this be Richards father?
