From the guidelines http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?mode=thread&id=9711

Do not use this forum in searching for Living Relatives
This forum is not the place to start looking for Adopted and Living Relatives as it can cause great misery and distress, and will not be allowed here

Your request appears to be regarding someone born around 1940 and still alive.

I'm not sure what you are after , hence my caution before possibly giving a full reply

Not sure if this is the same family, but I have a Glen Meek in my husband's family tree, the son of Albert Meek and Elsie Thomas married in 1925. Could "Alfie" and "Dixie" be Albert and Elsie? My husband is descended from Joan Meek, born 1931, their daughter.
