Looking at the FOD Parish Records, there are 25,761 JONES listed, 3,105 GRIFFITHS, 5, 274 DAVIES & 12, 712 DAVIS.
The National Museum of Wales has 3 short vidoes explaining the Story of Welsh Surnames - which is very informative.

We did a count in October 2007 when we had no where the number of Parish Records on the Web site as we do now.
