Obtaining cetificates (General)

I have found lots of entries for baptisms,burials and marriages on this site, but can anyone tell me where i apply to other than the gro for any of these , also death records, mainly hartpury area,and also there is a death i would like to send off for that occurred at the union workhouse,any ideas where i should apply for that please.

For Birth, Marriage, Death Certificates Relating to Forest of Dean - Cinderford Register Office. Hartpury may come under Gloucester Register Office. Contact Details on their Websites or BT Phonebook.

There is a charge for these, the last (and only one) I have purchased cost me around £7 but I think the price has either been increased recently or is to be increased soon.

If you have the GRO reference (eg from Ancestry or other web site) you can order direct from http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/. You can also try it without the reference but I haven't tried that and don't know how successful it might be - though with details from the Parish Registers you should stand a good chance.
If you provide some basic info (eg mother's maiden name) they will check the certificate and only print it if it matches, this will save you some of the cost.
Current cost for standard delivery is £9.25
