The Kear Family from Coleford (General)

by fiona, Tuesday, June 15, 2010, 21:34 (5352 days ago)

Wonder if anyone can help with information regarding the Kear family from Coleford- Im trying to build up a family tree and thats where my father comes from- his father was called Charles Anthony Kear and his grandfather was called William Kear-nicknamed Vatcher .They lived in a house- demolished I think- at Mile End in Coleford. He had a brother - dont know his first name- nickname Pancake Kear. If anyone has any information I would be most grateful- Dads getting on a bit and loves to talk about his days in the forest and Id love to surprise him with a family tree for his birthday- he lived there for only a short time but obviously it brought him great pleasure

Thanks in anticipation
