Henry JONES born 1832 Lydbrook (General)

by sylviamorgan @, Wednesday, June 23, 2010, 16:59 (5344 days ago)

HI
In trying to trace my 2x great grandfather, I found these entries
Henry JONES born 1837 Redbrook parents Elizabeth
Henry JONES 1831 Hudnalls son of Christianna and Elisha
Henry JONES 1835 Lower Meend parents William and Mary
Henry JONES 1832 Shortstanding Christchurch son of James and Eliza
Henry William JONES 1833 Shortstanding parents James and Eliza
Henry JONES 1832 Hillersland mother Sarah WILLIAMS (register states that Henry was not illegitimate despite there being 2 surnames involved)
This last one I found on the advanced search but Monmouth is given as place of birth
Henry JONES 1832 mother Elizabeth
I have had a lot of help with this especially from Slowhands but I`put this in hoping someone might be able to eliminate some of them from my search
Records show that my Henry was born Lydbrook 1832.
The only thing I know for sure is that he was the father of Jane JONES born Five Acres 1855. Her mother was Hannah GUNDY but Henry`s name is on Janes marriage certificate but not on her birth one
Apologies for length of message
Sylvia

Hi
Thank you for your answer as you can see there are lots of data about Henry JONES but I just haven`t been able to access anything that confirms which one was "mine"
Sylvia
I`m hoping that someone will be able to say any which can`t be the one I`m looking for

Hi
Thanks again Slowhands and otthers for your help. I have seen all this data but I cant seem able to work out which of the baptisms that I`ve collected is the one for the Henry who much later married Hannah GUNDY. He must be the father of Jane JONES(my great grandmother)although his name wasnt on Jane`s birth certificate.
