Rose Cottage Fetter Hill (General)

Kieth Smart recently posted some photographs of Rose Cottage Fetter Hill. The home of my Grandmother.

My Grandmother moved into Rose Cottage in the late 1920's living there for about fifty years.

I have fond memories of both my Grandmother and Rose Cottage but do not recognise the posting by Keith "Rose Cottage Fetter Hill 1928 Home of the Pace family and where Harry Pace was murdered"

Rose Cottage sits in a dip at the top of Fetter Hill access being via a steep slope from the top of the hill to the rear of the cottage. This cottage appears to be on resonably level ground.

As can be seen from the other recently posted photograph of Rose Cottage the building has two chimneys one at either end of the cottage. The attributed cotage only has one.

I also believe that no proven evidence was found that Harry Pace was murdered.

Regards

Tony
