Burlow Family (General)
I am searching for my Father's Father.My father's name was Albert Frank Burlow born 1920. His mother was Mary Ellen Burlow born 1899.I know he was illegitmate and born in Tewkesbury.Is there any way I can find out who his father was.
I know Mary married a Mr Reginald Winter but my father as far as I know did not live with them.

Albert Frank Burlow from Newent Gloucester and Olive Joyce Le Bailly from Jersey Channel Islands.They were married in 1943 in Jersey Channel Islands during the Occupation

Much as today there was a Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 1920 -so if a legal Order was proven you might be able to trace the father.
The Parish Poor law was I think in place until the mid /late 1920's so there may be an entry in the Parish / Union records.
It is difficult to answer the " Who is the Daddy?" without an admission or a declaration by the mother. Sorry.
