Diblitz - 1841 census record (General)

by ksimpson, Friday, August 20, 2010, 13:09 (5214 days ago)

Whilst researching my family history I have come across an entry in the 1841 census for a family Diblitz (my maiden name) at White Croft, Dean Forest, Park And Walk.

According to the census they shared the dwelling with the Phipps-family (Philip, Mary, Isbeta & Elizabeth) and James Worgan.

The name Diblitz does not appear on any other census and so far I was unable to find any other reference for them in the U.K.

Does anybody have any information on them or any suggestions where else to look? Would perhaps a trip to Parkend Parish Church be useful or are all their records already online?

Many thanks!
Karen

It looks like DIFFTY or DUFFTY to me, living next door to Phillip PHIPPS and family
