James family Gravestone in Lydbrook Church (General)
The gravestone of my ancestors William and Temperance James is in Lydbrook Churchyard which I visited yesterday. I managed to read the inscription but noticed on the very bottom of the stone where it enters the ground someone has scratched two words. The first word I think says Warrhon, the second I could not make out. This may be something to do with the Warren James, although at 1876 this is some years after the event. Has anyone from the James family been able to discipher this?
