Hi
In the 1851 census there`s an entry for The Ploods which shows James BROOKS 24, Mary Ann 25, William HALE lodger 19and George HALE 14.
I failed to find out Mary Ann maiden name and would like to as James was one of my ancestors

FreeBDM have a marriage O/N/D Qty 1849 Bristol District for a James BROOKS and there is a Mary Ann YOUNG listed with same page reference.

On the 1851 census Mary says she was born in Gloucester City.

There is a birth on FOD records - Drybrook

Emma daughter of James & Mary Ann BROOKS - address The Pluds - 10 June 1850 (not on the 1851 census)
