BOWERY Thomas and Ana of Newent (General)
Anyone who reads this message, I'm trying to trace my Great Grandmother I no she came over here from Spain when she married my Great Grandfather Thomas Bowery They married 6th March 1876 on the Rock of gibraltar, Her Name was Ana.
They lived in a cottage the Glass Houses!Newent I would like to hear from anyone who has been told any stories re My Great Grandmother I'm told she was a right carecter she helped deliver many Babies so we have been told, And Kept 'pigs i'm told, Also she had an 'Adoped Son althought we don't no if he just lived with her.
I would like to hear from any one who has heard if she had any Family back in Spain she would talk about to any Nieghboures. These sort of stories get handed down from Generation to Generation, Anyone in the Newent Area may have heard these stories,
Thomas and Ana was my Great Grandparents i have lots of info on my Great Grandfathers family but not on hers,
