I thought I had better add the Marfell element here in connection with the 1851 Census entry for Charlotte Turner.

The Sophia Anne Turner born 1840 mentioned married Jonathon Marfell born 28 Mar 1843 on 15 March 1865 Parish Ch. Hentland, Herefordshire. I have the marriage certificate and her father is shown as James Turner Farmer. Witnesses Henry J Turner & Charlotte Elizabeth Turner, presumably her brother and mother.

I appear to have missed some detail on the 1851 Census entry as I have :

Jonathon & Sophia both died in Romford - 1918 & 1922. A number of their children emigrated to Quebec, but moved on some to USA and one to New Zealand. Some remained as their deaths are recorded in Sussex.
