This is fantastic - you've just taken me back another generation!

What a find this site and forum is - I belong to several FHS Societies and their forums but this one is just amazing!

I'm from Liverpool originally and was interested to find that my great grandfather - I thought - was a Geordie. Further research led me to his bithplace, Lidbrook - a part of the world I have no knowledge of - and now to find that my roots ARE actually in the Forest of Dean - well it's just so fascinating!
