A very interesting set of records for the Manor of Tregaer, Bryngwyn & Penrhos Monmouthshire was for a Davies family who were originally from Bryngwyn Mon, the records dated 10.5.1785 - 3.11.1785.

They named David Davies of Painswick Glos a carpenter & John Davies of
Gloucester city bricklayer sons of John Davies a labourer deceased who was the
s/o John David otherwise John David Powell of Bryngwyn labourer deceased. also
mentioned was Walter Davies of Tidenham Glos labourer only s/o Walter Davies
deceased who was another s/o John David otherwise John David Powell of Bryngwyn
a labourer deceased.
