It would be interesting to know whether this was before or after his death in June of that year.

AD Morison was no newcomer to litigation.There was a case at the High Court,,Queen's Bench Division in 1876 :
Charles William Spark v Arthur Duff Morison and Stopford De Vere Beauclerk
The defendants were being sued for taking/using scrap ,machinery and plant from three local mine sat or near Sudley.
It makes arid reading( I am uncertain about the outcome) but it might be of interest to local historians .
