Canadian Immigration Records/Via NY (General)
The hint about checking US crossings is a good one. My Great Aunt emigrated to Canada with her small daughter. They are shown as arriving at New York, even though their final destination was Woodstock, Ontario, circa 1908.
While her husband and brother served in "The Great War for Civilisation" she returned to the Forest, then later returned to Canada.
I am grateful for all these travel records. It proves my father right. He always said Mum's famiy would be rich if only they hadn't spent so much time/money travelling. And now I have proof of just where my "itchy feet" came from.
Happy hunting.
