Fire Maria Evans 1832 of Mitcheldean (General)

A belated thank you for this posting.
I feel confident that this is the daughter of my GGG Grandparents Robert and Jemima Evans, who were married at Newland in 1823 and lived in Mill End Street in 1841 and following censuses.(In 1851 1nd 1861 Jemima says she was born in Mitcheldean about 1802 and Robert in St Briavels. Jemima's burial in 1868 (age 66) is also in the Parish Records.) Incidently, Maria seems to be another child who was christened twice!
What is confusing though is that when she was married, Jemima gave her surname as Williams, but the only possible christening in Mitcheldean is for Jemimey/Jemima Taylor, base child of Sarah. I have fond a Mitcheldean wedding of Sarah Taylor to a William Williams the following year. Would I be right in trying to link the two, especially due to the unusual christian name?
Even more interesting is that Jemima, Robert and family were living with (or next to) a Thomas and Ann Tylor (or Tyler) in Mill End Street in 1841, too. Perhaps I'm trying to be far too adventurous, but could this also link in?
Any ideas would be helpful.
