Western Mail Monday November 1st 1926. No. 137. BURIAL OF MR. E. A. KNOWLER, NEWPORT.The funeral, which was private, of Mr. Ernest Albert KNOWLER, of Newport, whose death occurred at the home of his sister, Mrs. T. H. ROGERS, 4, Beach Cliff, Penarth, took place at Newport Cemetery on Saturday. He was formerly of Coleford, Gloucester, and was an accountant under the Cannop Colliery Company (Limited).The Rev. V. MARRIOTT (curate St. John's Church, Stow-hill, Newport) officiated.The chief mourners were Mrs. A. HAMER, Penarth (sister); Mr. T. H. ROGERS, Penarth (brother-in-law); Mrs. George KNOWLER, Cwmbran (sister-in-law), Mr. E. V. ROGERS, Penarth, and Mr. C. B. WILKES, Llandaff (nephew); Mrs. I. TORRINGTON, Merthyr, Mrs. B. WILLIAMS, Newport, and Mrs. A. ROWLANDS, Newport (nieces). Among those present were Mr. J. H. GIBB, Lydbrook, and Mr. W. A. GARDINER, Coleford, representing the Cannop Colliery Company (Limited).
