Notes in Register (General)

Hi
I was hoping someone could help me please. I have been researching an ancestor and on the burial transcript in the Notes section it says 'Entry in left margin 6179/49'.
Does anyone know what this means or refers to?

Thanks

Marianne

Can you share the full record please so that we can see the full context .

It may be a "code" to find the burial plot i.e. in Cinderford St John

The graves are "ordered" from the north west corner,i.e. plot 1,1 is in the north west corner,( Bilson end looking out across Valley road towards Lightmoor and the Dilke) and plot 6,23 would be the sixth row Eastward, and 23 plots South towards Cinderford Bridge(!)

Memoranda: B/10/1

means the grave is in graveyard ground B row 10 position 1
