When you say later in life, do you have idea what sort of age she was...
not being flippant here,.. but.. you know how things get twisted as they are passed down through familys;), but there is a marriage between Annie Smith and William F Beer in 1929, reg Stroud;)

Having said that, there are a number of Ann/Annie Smith mariages at Stroud..and other places..various possible years..

any other clues?
