Hi Slowhands,

I came across your webpage quite by accident following a link on a 123people page belonging to a Martha Atherton who appears to live in Calafornia!!! It started with a unlikely google search for Eliza Abia Seddon who was my great grandmother. Are you also related to her in someway? Her 3rd child George was my grandfather and I remember him well. Quite how his father James and Eliza got together is a bit of a mystery given the distances (Ince and Gloucester) involved. Any info you have that would point me towards her ancestry would be appreciated. If you have any interest in her her descendents I would be happy to oblige

Ps For the record, her second child Martha appears to have married one Thomas Atherton which may have given rise to the eventual Calafornian connection...
