WILLIAM COOPER abt 1794 Littledean (General)
by unknown, Thursday, February 17, 2011, 22:31 (5032 days ago)
I am looking for information about William Cooper, born abt 1794 in Littledean. I believe his mother was Sarah, possibly Cooper and his wife was Maria/Mary Trigg(e)/Frigge, married 1822. I think his children were William, Pheobe and George. I have them on the 1841 and 1851 census. If anyone has more information i.e. parents, siblings, death I would be very grateful.

The 1841 Census does not give the relationship between people in households, although you generally find the order listed to be; Head/Wife/Children/Other family members/Guests/Servants,etc. The 1841 Census return for William Cooper shows his children immediately after him then Mary Cooper. It is possible that this Mary is another family member and not the spouse of William. I have searched for a wedding for William Cooper to Mary in this period and have not found one suitable.

by unknown, Tuesday, March 15, 2011, 22:38 (5006 days ago) @ unknown
I am searching for information about Sarah Cooper who had a base child, William Cooper, baptized 1794 Littledean Parish Chapel, (my 3rd G.Grandfather). No father was recorded. I think she may also have had another base child, Sophia(1803).
I am looking for who her father could be.
Many thanks.
