Thanks, Slowhands! I was just searching the forum for Ellen Galder and saw this post of yours.
There is yet another prior thread -
http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?id=8858
This was for Ellen Galder and Edward Morgan marriage in 1852. I'm still trying to prove this marriage is with "my Edward", but we're getting closer. A few folks in the family believe this is the marriage, but I am having trouble reconciling all the darn children in my mind.
Anyway, I hope this information (the marriage) is useful to someone!

Seems as if its right Ellen. Still no info on Martha Gough's wedding to Galder but I have death certificate for him and Martha she married a William Jones (witness on Elens marriage) and they had a daughter Eliza 1849 - they were living on 1851 census in Monmouthshire. A witness to Marthas second marriage was Henry Whittington also from forest and he married Sarah Gaulder another of Marthas children in 1847 Brynmawr
I have a possible Ephraim (who also married in Monmouthshire) in the USA hope this makes sense Gill
