Lydia JONES 1853 Yorkley -> London (General)

I've been trying to find a bit more information about Lydia. The address is 20 Conduit Street and a lot of fashion houses were located in this area. How can I find out the history of the building?

I have also got very stuck and confused by the number of Fletchers and Jones in your area, many with similar christian names. Can you give me any information about the migration of people between Forest of Dean and the Newport area in Wales. My grandparents (Emma and Edmund Fletcher ran the post office in Rogerstone near Newport and lived at the same address - my mother and her siblings grew up there - but I can't find any trace of this in the records.
