Edith BAYNAM - William John NICHOLLS Cinderford (General)

William John Nicholls b.1854 was a Forester who married Edith Baynam/Baynham, a dressmaker. They had eight children and lived in Cinderford. Sid one of their children is remembered as having a pegleg and married Clara Meek in 1904. Alice commited suicide during an unhappy period of her life in her 70's, I have no info on her.OTHER CHILDREN: Edith/1884. Elizabeth/1893. Fred/1894. Florence/1898. Robert/1901. I have found the family in:1881-1891-1901.1911 family is William 57, Ellen 49. Children:Fred/16. Flora/13. Robert/9.

The problem with this info is that I have William John marrying Ellen Morgan in 1881 and 'slowhands' confirmed this a while ago. Do I have it all wrong? I have found no info on this sight or in the forum, I need to get it right and its giving me a pain in the head.

Can anyone help on this. It was from a letter I found in some papers, plus a family tree sent to me from family in Cinderford some years ago.

William Johns son also called William John b.1886-1943 married Mary Jane Meredith b.1887-1978 marriage 1908. I know this to be true as they are my husbands grandparents.

William John 1854 and Ellen Morgan b.1862 all the childrens names seem to fit and their baptism info gives me Ellen as mothers name?

I'll wait with bated breath.
