these are my WICKENDEN/BURROWS lines

My times great Grandfather, William WICKENDEN married Margaret BURROWS (parents William & Ann BURROUGHS) 1 April 1843 at Northleach, Gloucestershire. The Burrows family worked as Gamekeepers to Sir Wm. Guise.

Margaret BURROWS christened 1 September 1820, Rendcombe parents William & Ann, BURROUGHS (Servant to Sir Wm. Guise)


Elizabeth BURROWS, christened 4 May 1837, daughter of Edmund & Ann BURROWS, Gamekeeper, Rendcombe

William WICKENDEN was the Miller at Rendcombe - eventually moving back to family in Blakeney

I have the BURROWS family back to around 1608 in Withington and then Rendcombe from late 18th century

1 = age about 20
2 = age about 40
p = a man of tallest stature make a pikeman
ca = a man of lower stature fit to serve with a calyver
