Calendar of Prisoners 1905-1910 Gloucester (General)
If you can establish that the records exist at the Archives and are available for viewing on site, and if you can get to Alvin Street, Gloucester, I think you can get a day reader's ticket for £5. You can either wait while they get the material out of storage, which generally takes about 45 minutes, or you can order it in advance to be handy when you get there (although on my last visit that didn't work and I still had to wait.)
If you can't get to Gloucester, the Archives can give you a list of people willing to do research for you, but start thinking at around £40. You or an agent can photograph archived material but you have to pay a fee for using your camera which again I think was £5 last time I was there.
