I have William Barnard 1860 in my family tree 1st cousin 3 times removed married to Ann, which I now assume is the Ann Baker in Chris's list, he had a brother Moses which will accord with the death details from slowhands for William.

I only have up to the 1901 Census, so if Arthur is part of this family he might appear in 1911, which I don't have - hint hint !!

The parents of William Barnard 1860 were Richard Barnard 1834/1883 & Elizabeth Harris 1835, married 4th July 1858 Independent Chapel Monmouth.

The parents of John Barnard 1765 are John Barnard 1735 & Mary Cloudley married (John Widower) 11 Apr 1765 Mitcheldean.

The parents of John Barnard 1735 were John Barnard abt 1710 & Elizabeth Constance married 29 Jun 1731 Huntley.

One to add to the list of William Barnards marriages, William Henry Barnard born 11 May 1863 - my great great Uncle, married Rose Isabel Matthews 1866 on 31 Dec 1887 Drybrook, I have the certificate. The parents of this William Henry Barnard were George Barnard 1825 & Sarah Jane Matthews 1830 - and I have to get it in here, Sarah Jane Matthews 1830 was the daughter of James Matthews 1810 and Elizabeth Marfell 1802. The parents of George Barnard 1825 were Thomas Barnard 1799 & Lucy Harris 1799 as mentioned above.

If it is confirmed that I have the correct family here, then I can send a detailed descendancy report by email to Gladys from John Barnard born abt 1710 & Elizabeth Constance detailing all the information I have on their descendants.
