Some children of Richard & Elizabeth VAUGHAN are registered in Monmouth District FreeBDM - which covers Cwncarvan (Elizabeth's birth place). May be she had her children 'at home' there.

Including a William VAUGHAN, A/M/J Qtr - 1882 Monmouth

and

Sidney - J/A/S Qtr 1884 and Milson/Emma - A/M/J Qtr 1887 -

Don't have access to Canada Passenger List (via Ancestry) - but can see at least a Milson/Wm VAUGHAN and a Sidney VAUGHAN - arriving at Halifax, Nova Scotia, & St John New Brunswick) -
