There was a booklet produced called "Forest Rugby Review a souvenier magazine of Yorkley Rugby Football Club" this gives the history of the club.
Also..I have a cap that was my grandfathers - Thomas Smith. He played for Lydney RFC before WWI. This cap is black and gold segments with a metallic braid tassell hanging from the top and has LRFC on the front body and 1909-10 on the peak in metallic braid. I am almost sure he also played for Gloucester/shire?
If anyone can help in identifying what this cap was presented for I would be very grateful.
