DARBY/CROCKET/KEMBREY Chepstow Area (General)

by awharris, Thursday, June 16, 2011, 15:26 (4913 days ago)

I am searching for any link (marriage etc) between the three families Darby, Crockett, and Kembrey over the general period 1750 to 1850. Hewelsfield and Newchurch are places of relevance.

You may be interested in pursuing the Crockett family name a lot further. Remember Davy Crockett and The Alamo 1836. The family name was originally de la Croquetagne and were French Huguenots who left France in late 17th Century for Scotland, England and Ireland. Some evidently emigrated to the America's.
