It is quite possible of course to have 2 people of the same name born close together. I have Mary Jane Allaway 1877 in my Family Tree, but no baptism - not all children were baptised, but in this instance Mary Jane is the only one of the 8 children in her family that I cannot find a baptism for.

The Mary Jane Allaway I have is the daughter of Thomas Allaway born 12 Aug 1847, buried 12 Nov 1891, who on 8th 1868 married my 2nd cousin 3 times removed Eliza Parsons born 4 Mar 1849 died 17 Aug 1910, buried 21 Aug 1910.

Eliza Parsons 1849 was the daughter of Thomas Parsons 1824 & Letitia Williams 1829. Thomas Parsons mother was my 4 times great aunt Ann Herbert 1796.
