Frances HODGES Baptism Record

by Jefff @, West London, Middlesex, Sunday, July 03, 2011, 13:19 (4896 days ago) @ slowhands

Howbist Slowhands, two questions if I may ?
First, thanks for the Census Details, despite my best search methods the Latter Day Saints site seemed rather sparse wrt the Hodges family. Is this typical of that site ?.

Secondly, please can you suggest possible meaning of the following "Notes" in Frances' Baptism Record ?. According to all the Records Frances and both "P"arents survived. Does it suggest a twin birth ?.
Thanks.

It probably means "Private Baptism".

Oops silly me (it was very late last night...)
I've just spotted my obvious mistakes,
1. there are no later records available after the 1915 Baptism Record
2. Paul's original post stated "Frances d 1915"

Clearly, it was Frances who sadly died at birth in 1915, hence the note.

Thanks Jeff For all the information you have found about Charles, it does seem that Charles used the Manns surname after the 1891 census, and the Charles Baker info is very interesting, thanks again Paul.

Since posting last I have found that on the actual 1911 Census return Charles Manns is stated as Stepson to William Hodges and Sarah Hodges (Nee Manns). The entry however is crossed out probably because he has married and has been entered on his own Census return for 1911.
