Thomas Yap Moorwood 1841 Census (General)

After years of searching I have finally found my Great x3 grandmother in the 1841 Census with her name misspelt and the wrong age. She was lodging with Thomas Yap aged 58 and Elizabeth Yap aged 15 of Moorwood. I wondered if anyone knew anything about this family.

Thank you for all the information. I think the idea that there might have been a connection by marriage between Hester Cowmeadow and Thomas Yap through Elizabeth Williams sounds realistic. I have tried to work out which James Cowmeadow married a Elizabeth Williams. The son of William and Elizabeth? I don't have have all the Cowmeadows clear. The Yap/Beale/Cowmeadows certainly seem interconnected.

Was William Webb a church official at Walford?
