Does anyone recollect a Public House between Bream and Clements End at the bottom of Mill Hill?If so,what was its name?Thankyou.

Search the following excellent website for "Oakwood", gives four hits all in Bream, with a full history and photo of them all.

According to this site the aforementioned Charles W Morse was also a builder and undertaker in 1903, a versatile man !. The last landlord in 1939 was Sidney James ....

When I lived on Oakwood Road in the fifties the pub was always known as the Mill for short.Have a look on sungreen.co.uk for photos of some of the customers
