I have just put Lydney in the search and came up with about 650 hits.

Thanks for that info, I've just found 2 of my ancestors in the records.

Sorry I must be dumb but where do you search for that. And is it on Ancestry.com or Ancestry.co.uk? As I belong to the uk one so can only get records from that site.

There's a picture of two railwaymen in front of an engine which you click on - or click on ' view all new records'

A great record help - loads of my family on there - Apprenticeship records inc. salaries - etc etc.....

Thank you very much I guess I havent explored Ancestry.uk as much as I should have too interested in putting names in.
