ELIZA JONES 1896 - The Bush Inn Redbrook (General)
by dink999, Saturday, August 20, 2011, 07:30 (4848 days ago)
Whilst visiting Cardiff I came across a vintage shop in which there was a box of old postcards and photo's. Amongst which was an "In Memoriam" card to Eliza Jones with the following inscription
To the dear memory of Eliza, wife of Philip Jones, late of the Bush Inn, Redbrook, Who died Easter Monday, April 6th 1896, aged 69 years, Interred at Wyesham April 9th
I do have the card, so if there is a descendant who would like to have it please let me know
Dave

Hi Dave,
I appreciate you posted this (almost) 9 years ago and you've probably had a clear out since then, but my partner is a descendant of Eliza so if you still had a photo or digital copy of the memoriam, I'd love to see it.
All the best,
D

I certainly would not have thrown the card away but where it is hiding amongst my documents/paperwork is the big question.
I'll give it some thought and have a look through some likely folders in the next few days

That is so incredibly kind of you, thank you so much D. But please don't spend too much time on it, I appreciate it was a long time ago!
Thanks,
